Blackjack online in Canada
The origin of Black Jack (just like the origin of the other popular casino card game – poker) is permanently disputed about. French categorically say blackjack is a native son of the French Chemin de Fer game. The Italians, with their southern inherent passion argue that blackjack is a vulgarized of a less sophisticated truly Italian version of ‘Seven and a half’. Americans argue that blackjack was smelted in the USA; and in accordance with the scientific theory of this game appeared in America.

Even Canadian researchers have recently shared the evidence of appearance of the game in Canada. Linguists believe there is a French track in the appearance of the game. In American Handbook released in 1875 the game is listed under the name ‘Vingt-et-Un’, which means ‘ twenty-one’ in French. In our times, some people call it familiarly Van John or Pontoon.
Black Jack: the rules
At the beginning of the game the player is handed out two cards; the dealer hands out one card at a time. Basing on the sum of the combination of the first two cards a player decides whether to take additional cards to get 21 points, or skip the opportunity. If you exceed 21 points or total points or take fewer points than the dealer, you lose.
If a gambler makes his mind to go on with the amount and skips the turn, the dealer hands out the cards to form his own combination. If the total amount of points exceeds the player’s one, then the dealer is the winner. If both player and dealer hit an equal amount of points, the session ends in a draw. The amount of the points depends on the value of a particular card. Black Jack combination is an Ace plus a 10 points card; the combination wins except the dealer has a Black Jack too (in this case, the session ends in a draw).
